Cinque Punte

Cinque Punte is a project rooted in the exploration of geometry as a generator of architectural form. The design emerges from the analysis of the opportunities embedded within urban zoning regulations, transforming constraints into spatial and formal potential.

Each house is clad in a different species of wood, creating subtle variation across the ensemble while reinforcing a cohesive architectural identity. Accents of red metal are introduced as secondary elements, such as terraces and circulation cores, providing contrast and recalling a colour rooted in the Alpine tradition.

The development is composed of five sibling buildings that share a common architectural language while maintaining distinct individual identities. Positioned above a semi-underground parking structure, each volume is carefully oriented to capture the spectacular views of the surrounding Alps. The buildings relate to one another through proportion, materiality, and composition, yet each expresses its own unique character.
